We host a growing collection of free online tools that anyone can use easily, with no sign-up and no fuss.
Our purpose
Undercover Nerd Project exists to make useful tools easy for everyone. Many small jobs, like unscrambling letters, don't deserve a download, an account or a page full of clutter. So we build simple, focused tools, host them in one place, and keep them fast, free and respectful of your privacy. Each tool on the site is called a project.

How our tools work
Our tools are built to run in your web browser. When you open a project, your browser loads it once and does the work on your own device, so results are instant, what you type stays private, and many tools keep working offline after your first visit.

- Easy first. Clear, focused tools that work the moment you open them, on phones and computers.
- Free and open to everyone. No accounts or paywalls to use a tool.

About the Anagram Solver's word lists
- Scrabble dictionary: the public-domain ENABLE word list (about 173,000 words). It is widely used for word games but is not identical to the official Scrabble dictionaries, so confirm unusual words in your game's official source before challenging a play.
- Common English dictionary: ENABLE words that are also frequent in the FrequencyWords subtitle corpus (CC BY-SA 4.0), about 22,000 everyday words.
